Role Overview We’re seeking experienced Remote Sales Representatives / Account Managers to accelerate revenue growth by selling advanced manufacturing solutions to target markets such as metal machining, precision engineering, industrial fabrication, and related sectors. This role is ideal for consultative sellers with deep expertise in machining, fabrication, tooling, or industrial components sales — and a track record of building revenue with OEMs, tiered suppliers, and complex manufacturing accounts. Key Responsibilities New Business Development: Proactively generate leads and close new business opportunities across metal machining, fabrication, tooling, and precision components markets. Account Management: Manage existing customers across operating businesses within the Alligator Holdings portfolio; deepen relationships and expand share of wallet. Solution Selling: Understand customer technical requirements (e.g., CNC turning/milling, Swiss machining, stamping, fabrication, tooling) and position tailored solutions to drive value. Territory Planning: Develop and execute sales territory strategies, build robust pipeline, and forecast sales performance. Cross-Functional Partnering: Collaborate with engineering, operations, quality, and product teams to align on quotes, pricing, capacity, and delivery commitments. CRM & Reporting: Maintain timely CRM updates, opportunity tracking, and sales reports; communicate key insights and pipeline status to leadership. Market Insight: Stay current on industry trends in manufacturing technologies, machining capabilities, production innovations, and competitor activity.
Qualifications Sales Experience: 5+ years in technical sales / account management in metal machining, fabrication, tooling, or advanced manufacturing — ideally selling to OEMs, industrial customers, or tier-one suppliers. Proven Results: Demonstrated success in consultative sales with measurable revenue growth and quota achievement. Technical Acumen: Comfortable engaging on machining capabilities (CNC, precision fabrication) and quoting complex components or assemblies. Relationship Builder: Strong communication and relationship-management skills with stakeholders at multiple organizational levels. Remote Execution: Self-motivated and organized in managing a remote sales territory; proficient with CRM tools and virtual selling. Travel: Willingness to travel periodically for customer meetings, industry events, and trade shows.
