Solution Selling: Present tailored packaging solutions — including structural design, prototyping, print, and finishing — that meet brand, regulatory, and performance requirements. Sales Strategy: Develop and execute territory plans, forecasts, and pipeline management to meet/exceed revenue targets. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal technical, design, and production teams to ensure alignment with customer requirements and delivery schedules. CRM & Reporting: Maintain accurate opportunity tracking and sales activity in CRM; deliver regular sales reporting to leadership. Market Insights: Stay informed on industry trends (sustainability, labeling/serialization in pharma, retail packaging shifts) and competitor activity.
Requirements Proven Sales Experience: 5+ years in business development / account management selling to medical, pharmaceutical and CPG brands — ideally within packaging, contract manufacturing, or related supply chain solutions. Track Record of Results: Demonstrated success in selling complex, technical solutions with measurable revenue growth. Relationship-First Approach: Comfortable engaging senior decision-makers; strong consultative and negotiation skills. Technical Aptitude: Ability to understand packaging capabilities (design, print, folding carton specifications) and translate them into value for customers. Remote-Ready: Self-motivated, organized, and effective in managing a remote sales territory. Travel: Willingness to travel for customer meetings, trade shows, and industry events as required.
